We found an iceberg that sailed into the harbour. We decided to go for a walk up the hill for a better view.
Strange house with a funny haircut on the way. Is it just abandoned, or is it a cold cellar
A short walk through a Tackamore dwarf forest. These ancient trees are dwarfed by the harsh environmental conditions. They are very dense and entangled tightly together.
Some of these rocks are worth painting. Maybe one day...
It was worth the hike up the hill. The view is awesome!
the bay is glistening in the sun and we realize that there is more than one iceberg around.
It's like the are playing hide and seek.
and a close up.
Dances with icebergs.
Beauty!
We came back down the hill and walked out along the beach. Some very interesting rock formation. I wish I knew more about geology.
...and than there were moose. The same three that we saw before in L'Anse Aux meadows. They were grazing just by the beach, between us and the way to the car. What to do? We stood and watched for a while and then started walking towards them. They let us go very close before taking off far enough to let us through. Awesome. We have like, 2000 pictures and videos...
I think this guy is laughing at us...
Now he dances with moose :)
